Ellie is a Children’s BAFTA-winning director, regularly creating educational content with History Bombs, working with clients such as the BBC, Historic Royal Palaces and English Heritage.

Within her fiction work she's passionate about stories that explore young people's struggles, with a focus on grief, identity and LGBTQIA+ representation. She won a Broadcast Digital Award for her episode of BBC’s Sparks series produced by Emmy nominated Big Deal Films. Her most recent short, Chickenshit was longlisted for a BIFA.

Her works have screened in competition at BAFTA and Academy-Award qualifying festivals, winning a range of awards including the Hijack Visionary Filmmaker award at Aesthetica Film Festival and nominated for the Iris Prize Best British Short.

Ellie is a member of Directors UK, BAFTA Connect and alumni of BFI NETWORK's Weekender programme. She also mentors younger filmmakers and loves meeting fellow creatives, so get in touch! ellieerogers@gmail.com
