Ellie is a Children’s BAFTA-winning director, regularly creating educational content with History Bombs, working with clients such as the BBC, Historic Royal Palaces and English Heritage.

Within her fiction work she's passionate about stories that explore young people's struggles, with a focus on grief, identity and LGBTQIA+ representation. She won a Broadcast Digital Award for her episode of BBC’s Sparks series produced by Emmy nominated Big Deal Films. Her works have screened in competition at BAFTA and Academy-Award qualifying festivals, winning a range of awards including the Hijack Visionary Filmmaker award at Aesthetica Film Festival and nominated for the Iris Prize Best British Short. She's is a member of Directors UK, BAFTA Connect and alumni of BFI NETWORK's Weekender programme.
